Tuesday MM - Day A

Good Morning!

Big events today so please adjust your flexibility settings.  Wouldn't that be nice if we could "pre-load" settings for our attitude as if we were adjusting a digital camera or smartphone?  Wait, we can do that with appropriate self-talk and reflective actions.  I know it is easier said than done, but we are capable of adjusting our frames by which we view the world.  Try it and it can become a tool to bring joy and happiness to your life and others. 

Wednesday we have a staff meeting for all teachers who serve students that have instructional accommodations for EC/504/LEP.  We will begin at 3:25 in the media center.

Wednesday is also UNITY DAY - Every Staff member is expected to wear Orange and encourage every student to follow suit.  We need to show our support for Bully Free schools and society.

Monday MM - Day F

Good Morning!

I am thrilled with the progress of the PTA Grounds Team.  Over 100 parents and students worked to beautify our campus under the direction of Elaine Byers.  Let's all do our part and demonstrate good stewardship of the building and grounds.

Big Day Tuesday with the Symphony at 9:00 for 4th  and 5th grade students, followed by an author visit in the afternoon from John Perry.  The lunch schedule will be adjusted and we may ask for certain classes to eat in their classrooms after 12:30.  I will have the schedule posted in the blog documents and on the microwaves in the cafe by 11:00 today.

Friday MM - Day E

Good Morning!

The media center is operational today and has a new HVAC unit!

Our Re-COG-nition is this afternoon.  Listen carefully to the morning announcements for details.

PTA grounds BIG SWEEP is Saturday from 9-noon.  Come out and help beautify our campus for a while if you can swing the time.

Good Morning!

• PEP dates.

Our Media center will most likely be closed today as they replace the HVAC unit that is on the roof.

PBIS Celebration is on for Friday afternoon.  The drawing for the participants is this morning, so please continue to insist on great listening for all during our Morning announcements.

Wednesday MM - Day C

Good Morning!

I am at the Joint Principals meeting today and will return after Lunch.  the agenda for the meeting can be found in the blog documents.  


The agenda for our faculty meeting can be found on the staff share drive in the folder for staff meetings.  It is the file with today's date.  We will be watching the video, "A Critical Incident" in preparation for a Lock-Down drill  later this month.

Monday MM - Day A

Good Morning!

On this A day we ask that each of you share with your class that Mrs. Burrell will be taking on a new role as a Minister of Music at a Church in High Point.  Her last day with us will be next Monday, October 8th.  

PDP's must be reviewed and signed by both the teacher and administrator before October 6th. 

The Staff meeting schedule for October is as follows

• October 17th - Theme Team/STEM night prep
• October 24th - Imagine It Booster - media center
• October 31st - Full Staff in the media center

Many have asked for time to address the full staff.  Please be sure to get your request to me before the end of the day so we can adjust the agenda.
