Stickers for bus Riders will be color coded and Andy will make his rounds throughout the day.  BE SURE to know how each student gets home!

3rd grade and 3rd HAG specialists will be coming to the classroom.  At the 10:00 slot for 2nd grade, we will begin traveling transitions.

I will be making 10 minute class visits to introduce myself & learn about each class.  The learning target is;

Saturday Science update

From the central office science department:
All teachers are encouraged to sign up for their grade level Edmodo accounts. Below is a listing of the sign up codes by grade level.

Science training for the fall is listed on the WSFCS website under departments and then science. In the next week or so, the entire science staff development calendar should be posted for the year.

Donna McGee and Lara Overby are the science liaisons for Brunson. If you have science questions, please let either of them know. If you need STC materials (kits, supplies/refurbishments, etc.) or if you have extra materials, please let them know. Grade level chairs can order living materials directly from the WSFCS website under departments--science--STC section.

Copies of Material Safety Data sheets should be kept on file in the office.

All schools will be receiving some additional equipment--including a weather station--in the near future.

Hi everyone,
I have just a couple of quick notes for you as the year gets started:

• The purple RUA forms need to be signed and returned before students may use the computers. These forms need to be placed into the cumulative folders. They will stay there permanently and will be good for the following school years as well. Please keep a record of which students have not yet turned in the form.
• I will be covering the RUA in my class so that all students will understand how the document applies to them.
• We have a new login for students. I will go over this format with all of my classes and with you at our next faculty meeting.
• Students in grades 3-5 will have email this year. I will go over these procedures in my class with students. I will also send each of you a spreadsheet with all of your student email addresses next week.
• There is a new system for putting in tickets that is very user friendly. I will go through the steps with you at the next faculty meeting. In the meantime, just continue to email me.

SIT/PBIS/STEM

Our missed opportunity to meet will require a re-schedule.  

All teams will meet at Noon Thursday to kick off the year in building their team specific culture.

12 month Pay option & Benefits Fair

Monday August 18th is the last day that non-12 month employees are able to sign up for 12-Month Option.  I know the first day back for your staffs are hectic and jam-packed but I am asking that you please remind your people of this deadline.  We have some new system constraints in place that only allow the 12-month option to be selected from a WS/FCS network computer which means that our employees have not be able to make this selection from home this summer.  


Remember only employees needing to stop the 12-month option or sign up for the first time need to follow the link on the website.  Anyone that had the option last year will keep it unless they stop it.

Rosters

We anticipate Bus information sometime Thursday.  Therefore we will stuff welcome letters and label envelopes Monday after breakfast.  

Our PTA will "pre-stuff" the envelopes with their information (Direct Donation and Brunson ONE form) on Thursday to speed the process.
