TAX DAY!  It is the deadline where Americans support the infrastructure of our union.  We are an integral thread in our majestic tapestry that provides educational growth for ALL.  Thanks go out to everybody who contributes to our State and National budgets as they are the direct supporters of our educational institutions.  Let's show them ROI (return on investment) and produce students who can think critically and demonstrate achievement across all three dimensions:

• High Quality Work

BELLT on Wednesday

Tam Tam Mandingue drumming is on Campus Wednesday to work with our Fourth grade classes.

Monday, April 16th

Today we welcome our WSFCS learning walk support team and Dee Duncan to campus.  We will pre-walk at 8:00 in room 13 followed by classroom learning walks beginning at 8:30. 

Let me know if you want to see Dee later today regarding your #BetterWorldDay plans.  Slides are due to Stacy on Wednesday, May 2nd in advance of our presentation on May 4th.

Speaking of Better World Day, model compassion for our neighbors to the east as the severe weather has impacted many in Guilford county.

• Lesson plans for Monday's Learning Walk are due to Laurie before dismissal on Friday.  Every teacher should submit. 
• Unfortunately our School board visit is cancelled today.  we will attempt a reschedule in the near future.

Before and after school duties:

• If you have a substitute, please make sure they know your morning and afternoon duty.
• Specialist covering the PLT time should also know and complete the afternoon duty.

Half day planning for two grade levels.  Refer to Kathy's prior email for planning and PLT changes.

• Friday visit by the School Board ~ Put your best foot forward.  
• Are you and your teammates wearing your ID badge? 
• Remember this is for security purposes and the responsibility of WSFCS employees.
• Monday visit for our District Walk-through

We need everyone in the building to wear their badges everyday.  We know that new staff members do not have badges...please see Laurie to get a temporary badge.  All staff received a badge from Lifetouch at the beginning of the year. If you do not have yours, see Laurie.

Dee is in the building today.  Let us know if you wish to see her.  She will work with a CREW planning team in the afternoon.
