Sadly, due to a HUGE number of subs, ACCESS testing, and unfilled absences we are going to cancel Art, Music, and Guidance. Subs are not available for any of these positions.  
If you are the grade level teacher with PE or Media today, please give your teammates a break.
Be CREW...Please assist our large number of subs (and your teammate).

Continue smiling and working hard for our students. 
They should see nothing but JOY!

We anticipate our illustrious leaders return on Monday.

Our fill-in data manager is still struggling with attendance being completed.  

Let's agree to complete by 9:30.  

Do your sub plans contain a student roster for the sub to take the role?

Staff Crew today from 3:30-4:30

Per Kathy's email from the 22nd..."No PLTs at regular time this week.  No change in specialists’ current schedule". Meaning all grade levels will attend their specials AS IF the PLT was being held. Grade level teachers will be responsible for their afternoon dismissal duties all week.

Many of our specialist  are out sick this week.  Grade level teachers, please ensure that you are performing the afternoon duties.  If there is ever a question regarding dismissal coverage, please error on the side of student coverage rather than assumptions.

Reminder: Complete your Secret Pal info sheet and putting it in Domenica's mailbox. We will be selecting names for Secret Pal at Faculty CREW today.

There are many subs in the building today:

Half day PLTs for K and 3H...plus a few other all day subs.  Please help them feel welcome and prepared.

Hopefully, most of the report card issues have been resolved by Gail (district office).  

During the data manager's absence, we are happy to have Tara Johnson, the Data Manager from North Hills, coming for a couple hours each evening to assist.  If you are here at 4:30 when she arrives, please make her feel welcome.

A HUGE thanks to Katie Welch and East Forsyth High School for coming to our rescue on Friday.  Katie came and spent several hour reviewing the comment verifications.  Please take a moment to email Rodney Bass (EFHS principal) and Katie Welch to express your appreciation for their time and support.

I believe the district "guru" will be here to store and print today or tomorrow.  Thanks for getting the grades to a perfect match as Katie described in her Friday email.  Y'all rock!!

Interviews begin this week for our Lead Administrative Assistant position.  Our plans are to locate the perfect candidate in a timely fashion.  Laurie's last day is February 22nd and overlap time for the new person to work with Laurie is our goal.
