Summer #1 (July 5th)

If your last day was Friday the 15th, you are coming up on three full weeks away from school.  I hope you have moved into a new definition of time and space, free from the scheduled rigor that accompanies a typical school day.  There are more than 5 weeks remaining to chart you day before we return to our collaborative culture, built in the best interest of our students.  Enjoy and keep in touch as I work to organize the parameters of 2018-2019.

Thursday, June 7th

Respect our third grade students who are striving for proficiency on the EOG re-test this morning.  They will start at 8:45 in three classrooms on the second floor.

Best wishes to Marzullo and Patrick's classes as they present dramatic interpretations based on American revolution literature today.  

We have three candidates for faculty positions in 2018/19 performing model lessons today.  

A reminder from community crew;

• To help with traffic flow, all staff need to park on the side of the lot closest to the playground. We want all parents to pull into the lot, turn right, and either park or move through the car-rider line.

Wednesday, June 6th

Testing continues today with two make-up sessions in the Nurse & IF offices.

Best wishes to our 3rd grade students taking the RTA assessment today.  Be supportive as we create an environment that promotes success.

Laurie had verified who has requested "leave" for the 18th or 19th. This changes payroll for her, so if you have not put in the paperwork, please plan to be at school.  

The June calendar has been updated and new info is highlighted in neon green. Please check the calendar often as we continue to update.

Monday, June 4th

We can make this the best week of the school year.  Model our HOC in all interactions and set the table for 2018-2019 - Staff culture always leads student culture. 

EOG administration for absent students is today.  We will utilize mobiles #35 & #40 along with some office spaces.  Please honor these students with a similar climate as we provided last week.
