BIG NIGHT for our 4th and 5th grade performers.  Come out and support this fine activity produced by Mr. Dorset with the assistance of the specialists.

We look forward to another day of Dee Duncan and EL Education.

Do you have BURNING questions about Expeditionary Learning that haven’t been answered yet? Concerns you were afraid to voice?
There is a “parking lot” in the copy room where you can post your questions/concerns. I am leaving some sticky notes with Natalie that you can use, just in case it pops into your head while walking through the halls.

I will start my day at the first part of our Elementary Principals meeting and return quickly for my 9:30 with Dee.  (The Agenda is in the blog documents folder as usual)

Here is a picture from my time with the folks.  I thank you all for your support and wishes.

  • Please remember that parking in the rear of the building is for cafeteria workers ONLY. When others park there, the cafeteria staff is displaced.  Thanks for using the front parking lot. (Just think, the extra steps will add toward the 10,000 we strive for daily)
  • We'd love to hear your EL reflections after the sessions with Dee Duncan. Feel free to write these down and share with Jeff and Sarah.
      • What connections did you make to our current work?
      • Was there a new nugget of information that you look forward to implementing?
      • Are there areas of question that you still have?

  • Intentionality, integration, collaboration, enthusiasm, and passion fuel student engagement, which fosters high-quality work.
  • Creating a culture where all students feel safe and valued is tantamount to our school successfully helping children achieve their potential

  • Character education is a school wide initiative and everyone is involved in its implementation and execution.
  • EL Education aligns nicely with the Design Process.
  • We are excited to tell you more next Wed. at the staff meeting!!
"It is not just something else that we have to do, it’s just a new culture and different ways of doing some of the same things.  Our Engineering program fits perfectly inside of EL."
