    Friday is Read Across America day!
Brunson is celebrating with a 10 minute, whole school read.  

• If you are in the main building, please bring your students (each with a book) into the hall at 8:35.  

• Students in learning cottages will remain in their trailers for their independent reading time. 

• Every person in the building will read from 8:35-8:45.

Welcome Rusty Hall to our campus today as he coaches our third grade crew on teacher directed ELA instruction.

PTA Birthday Bash is at 2:00 today.

• 1:45 - 3:45 EL Education PD with Dee Duncan
• 3:55 - 4:25 Community Crew w/ nominations and Election of the 2018 Brunson Classified Employee of the Year!

Can you believe it will be MARCH 1st on Thursday?  We have done so much this year and I want to encourage each of you to lean into our growth, and finish STRONG!

A BIG thank you to staff members (19 responses) who have completed the OnTrack 360 survey for my leadership development. The website closes this week, so if you have procrastinated and still want to provide feedback, do so before Thursday.  I have asked 360 to send one last reminder.

MTSS team is at a PD today and IFs are in Wake County.

Several teachers out, without sub coverage...Instructional Assistants will be asked to cover.  Thanks for your flexibility as we work through our shortages.

Reflect on an area of growth...match it with a MAC book strategy. Implement the strategy or thinking for a couple weeks.  Let me know your results.

Thanks to the Kindergarten team for helping with our sickness/sub issues.  Today Mrs Robinson will cover for Patrick and Mrs. Tatum will cover for Binkley.  Mrs Rush will support Gutierrez and Binkley while Mr. Gillespie will support Hailstock and Green.

On Thursday, our MTSS team will participate in WSFCS PD and our Instructional Facilitators will travel to Wake County to observe the implementation of EL ELA.

Fire drill will be tomorrow morning.

     Absent / Sick:

• Nelva is out today and tomorrow at a district training. 
• Jeff came in and went home sick
• Ms. Patrick is out sick and as of 7:30 a sub has not picked up.  We will have to fill the position with one of our awesome instructional assistants.
