I am enjoying the work this summer. Specifically the thought about a schedule that will support student learning and teacher efficacy. I am focused on the notices and wonders as I create these structures and want to thank our Founding Faculty for guiding our school with honest feedback.
I appreciate the response to co-lead instruction at the CREW session during the WSFCS Collaborative Learning Conference. The details of the presentation are below. We will meet to develop our Learning Targets and plan the lesson on Monday, July 31st from 4:00-5:30 followed by a social at the Quiet Pint.

- Crew is a ritual, a coming together, and the creation of a close-knit student community. Crew is a place where character education, adventure, and team building are intentional, assuring success for all students. It’s a structure that fosters a sense of belonging within students, and a place where they can be their best selves.
