Today is all about relationships.
Here is a suggestion for Spring Break
Mr. Kirby will be here working Monday-Thursday from 6:00-2:30. You may access the building, yet the office will be closed. You may find you are "waxed-out" as SMO works on the halls. Remember our custodians have first rights over the break, so we will need to be flexible.
- Show compassion to students who are conflicted about spring break as they "love" the structure and consistency of school
- Demonstrate integrity though listening to concerns big and small
- Be respectful as you think and act positively toward yourself and others
- Model self-regulation as you navigate the issues of the day
- Be empathetic and acknowledge the power of your students point of view (we don't always need to be right)
