An enjoyable Mix-IT-Up day last Friday! Let these pictures tell the story
An update on the grounds workday from Colleen. We had 59
volunteers and got a lot done. Big trash sweep of grounds, including
twin city diner parking lot, and the creek. The big trash find was a
stolen purse in the
creek! An
elderly woman on 25th street said her purse had been stolen
from her house last November. They took the money but not the cards,
license, etc. Our PTA will be delivering it to her this week. Lots of raking, replacing pine needles along front of building, weeding
gardens and day lily beds, etc. Also got all the sculptures installed.
Volunteers signed a banner and tied it up on the bridge near the
front doors so all can see it. A great day!!
