Good Morning!


Thanks to the folks who have volunteered to be assist our school nurse on the health teams for 2013-2014

• Lice  - Brenda Coles & ? (who else volunteered?) 
• First aid - Andy Lester-Niles & Silvia Correa 
• CPR responders - Andy Lester-Niles & Michelle Gray
• Diabetes - Karon Kiger & Natalie Newman

We also have many district teams that require leadership.  At our next meeting we will vote to approve the following slate .  If you are interested in serving in any of these roles, PLEASE let me know as the TEAM approach allows for a greater impact to our community.

Find time to join with teachers across the country on Friday, September 6th, at 8 p.m. to watch the film "Teach" on CBS. This documentary from Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim follows four teachers to answer the question, "What does it take to be a teacher?"
 

In the next decade, more than half of U.S. teachers will retire. We'll need a new generation of teachers prepared to inspire, engage, and challenge America's students. Who will they be?
