We have a new superintendent! Dr. Emory has been meeting with small groups to listen and collect data to chart her course. I so appreciate this method as I encourage all of our new staff to assess then shape the culture of our school. Today Andy, Kim and I participated in a webinar with Myra Brooks from the Mid-Atlantic region of Expeditionary Learning. It was an exceptional meeting that help to clarify opportunities to impact students through teacher support. If you have 10 minutes, watch this video from May 2013 that aired on PBS.
Next week has me working on Rosters and Schedules while completing our staff with the hiring of the second grade and PRT positions.
